As President Obama comes into office, one of the first executive orders he made was the shut down of Guantanamo Bay (terrorist Prison). Im torn between thinking what is right. If you think about the factor about America's image, we dont want to be seen as a torturing country, where on the other side (the Republicans) argues with criticism that the terrorist should be kept there and if Guantanamo is closed, where would they go?
What are your opinions ? |

What would you do if YOU were a suspected terrorist simply due to your skin colour, hair colour, ethnicity, religion or whatever, and YOU were taken to guantanamo bay, and YOU were innocent, yet YOU were tortured for a confession about an attempted crime that YOU never commited.
How would YOU feel about guantanamo bay then? Guantanamo bay is against our human rights. What happened to innocent until proven guilty? The bush government was a racist regime, and thank God GB is going to be shut down. |
