Should i just get over him? Options

I asked this question before in the past about this guy that i've liked but here's a little detail i forgot to add in, okay well just in case some of you don't know my situation, there's this guy who i liked since last year May and before i liked him, he would stare at me all the time and then i eventually started to like him and i finally told him on msn that i liked him and at first he didn't believe me then he told me he had a gf. but after that, he would still stare at me and he started to act fidgety whenever i would pass by him.he even talked to me on msn after the incident i asked some ppl that knows him if he has a gf and they said they highly doubt that. okay i'm not being racist or anything but he's indian and i'm black and i heard they can't date out of their race or religion so i was wondering if that's why he said he had a g.f, or maybe he just panicked? didn't take me seriously? what do you guys think? should i just get over him?

no, i don't think there is a rumor like that. maybe just for him, he feels uncomfortable, some indian parents are very strict about having girlfriends or relationships. they still do arrange marriage or some sort. i don't think you have to worry, and it shouldn't matter what color you are. most indian people aren't like that because some also consider themselves black, such as guyanese and trindad and tobago you know? maybe he said that because he does have a girlfriend. or maybe he's just being shy, by acting all fidgety or some sort. the real thing to do is just ask him. if you got guts to tell him you like him you can tell him, whats the deal? (:
