^ Yeah, I'm thinking of changing to art history. Studio art is too pretentious! *Cries* Woowwee it does sound like we're taking the same class. XD so exciting :D

XD so exciting :D hey i'm gonna get my BFA in studio art  no, you know i hate like 90% of people in my studio classes. most of them don't even have a clue about anything. they think shitty things look good and artsy just because they look like shit. they do dumb and unthoughtful works and in critique make up a bunch of bullshit about it. i might want to get a master in fine arts and be a professor or something though. i would like to do art education maybe, but only for people who were really into art. or maybe i don't and i only think i want it because i wanna know i'll have a job  |

My teachers at SMU were SOOO pretentious. Like they just like throwing out names because they "knew" them. They'd be like "Oh, this sketch reminds me of so-and-so, do you know who that is? If not, write it down and look it up." JERKS I'd rather get my degree in art history because it's a lot more objective... And I can become a museum curator or art history teacher XD or dean of a pretentious art school! Have you thought about going into graphic design or like graphic illustration? Lots more jobs there than fine arts. |
