I truly hope Hillary runs again in 2012 because she would do this country a lot of good. I do not think Paulin should even run. She mostly popularity. Who do you guys think?

I'd point out (since most of what I'd like to say has already been covered) that it is simply untrue to say that Republicans are for less government and less government control. That may be the thought behind their economic policies, but it doesn't apply to their social stances in the least. Republicans are very much in favor of social control, which is obviously governmental.
And for the record, not making up statistics is one way to avoid looking ignorant. If you're going throw around 90% this, 90% that, back it up with something. Sweeping unfounded generalizations are generally something you want to avoid. Also, I think someone else pointed this out too, but seriously. Wanting to help people "to a degree" is absolutely "a little socialism." There always has been, always will be at least a little socialism in our government. You don't think we've ever been truly capitalistic, do you? Because that is thoroughly not the case. I know socialism is scary stuff ( ![]() |
