the problem was the you singled out one specific racial group as being uninformed and then went as far as to say 90% of them.
i don't get how it even makes sense. you want two black people running so they will have to make an informed decision. ok well how is that different than every year prior to this? because every year prior to this the black population has been having to decide between two white people. so on what grounds were all the black people misinformed then? or they are only misinformed this year? you're saying you want an election where they actually have to choose not based on race. GUESS WHAT, THAT'S EVERY PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION BEFORE THIS. you act like this would be a first for black people. if they have had to make informed decisions on who to vote for between to white people prior to this, why would they just throw it all out the window and suddenly be completely uninformed about democrats and republicans for this election? i don't get it. |

i didn't call you any of those names. reply to me.
and if you wanted to say that the majority of people who vote aren't informed enough...ok, but that's not the same thing as saying that 90% of black people aren't informed when they vote. the problem was the you singled out one specific racial group as being uninformed and then went as far as to say 90% of them.

All I was saying was I would like to see how it is played out were Obama be up against another black man. Like I said, most people dont pay enough attention to politics and in this time, it is crucial to do so. People may roll their eyes at the idea that this country is slowly falling into socialism and ignore that Obama has socialist ideas. People bought into what Obama was selling: a fake campaign built on lies. Both white people and black people are guilty of that. But everyone looked at Obama as being able to be the first black President, so they disregarded all the factors that make him unqualified for the job. So, having already a black man as the President of the United States and taking that away from him in 2012, I would like to see just how many of those black people would be for Obama or the other black guy. I singled out Black people, and then went right along and singled out white people after that. Black people were just so enthralled by the idea of having a black man as president, which is a monumental thing. Not all black people, mind you. Some. Most. A lot. It just so happens that he is a complete fake. A fake "savior." And you think every presidential race before this has been about race? Not like this campaign. A black man and a white man: pretty different than previous elections, Im sure. QUOTE Things like that make people think your ignorant. I mean dont get me wrong its cool to have an opinion but theres a point to where it can almost be taken a bit too far and saying that "blacks mainly choose him becuase he was black" is an ignorant thing to say. You all can think I am ignorant. Just so happens I am not going to sit by, like too many conservatives do, and not let my opinion be heard. |

Just so happens I am not going to sit by, like too many conservatives do, and not let my opinion be heard. You need to STFU unless you actually try researching some of the stuff you spew out. 74% of voters are WHITE. 74%! An overwhelming majority. And they mostly voted for McCain. And they still lost. Now how many of those white people who voted for your candidate do you think made uninformed decisions? The minorities? The blacks, the asians, and the latinos? They all voted for Obama. Because he is the candidate the non-mainstream want to see take office. We are tired of the same type of person taking office over and over and over again. We are tired of Republicans who protect the wealthy so the wealthy stay and continue to get richer. I am tired of seeing my college tuition increase when I see no increase of benefits for myself. I am tired of nearly half our nation unable to afford basic health care, which is detrimental to society because they cannot be productive citizens. Many people share my views. Yes, they are a little socialist but we are tired of the entitled staying entitled and not benefiting society. I don't care if you're conservative. I don't care how many times you say you are not racist. You can say you're an informed voter but you have done NOTHING to show that you are different from the people you're talking about. http://elections.nytimes.com/2008/results/...exit-polls.html |
