He's had an underground buzz for the past year or so, and a lot of industry heavyweights are co-signing him (The Roots, kanYe West, Swizz, 9th Wonder). He's not overly lyrical, but I like is flow, his delivery and his pride in DC. Check the link.

MTV is doing a whole big DC Week and you can watch Wale perform live with a go-go band, I'm assuming it's UCB (Un-Called 4 Band).
