I was thinking about tumblr but idk
I do have a tumblr but it's really random blogspot xanga livejournal tumblr whatevs if you bloggers could advise me on pros and cons, that'd be cool too btw Carrie I notice you're an active blogger so I wouldn't mind hearing from you ;D I don't really want to see this moved to RC but it probably will 'cause I see Thomas down there. boo prove me wrong |

Blogger. My reason sounds lame, but it's because most people use it. It's easily accessible and most of the community who use it are more serious bloggers, unlike Xanga where you have a bunch of preteens posting lame song lyrics or emo rants about their suckass life.
And personally, when reading blogs myself, I prefer the Blogger ones. It's just way less messy and keeps things more uniform I guess. Next would be tumblr because I see more people using it nowadays and I like how it looks, but Blogger seems more hardcore, serious blogging (i.e. less random/one sentence blogging) than tumblr. |

Next would be tumblr because I see more people using it nowadays and I like how it looks, but Blogger seems more hardcore, serious blogging (i.e. less random/one sentence blogging) than tumblr. i think i agree, though i favor tumblr. i used it for more inspirational spam or things that i like because i don't consider myself as a serious blogger. i actually don't like the way tumblr users post most of the time. it's not the pictures that make it look messy but the reblogging part bothers me. it makes it look cluttered, like a whole conversation going back and forth, but i suppose that was the point. "Doubts and fears, hopes and dreams, likes and dislikes — they all get released into the ether that is Tumblr, and everyone else ingests them." but i suppose that can go for any blog |
