American Idol, Season 8 Options

Its that time of year again. Auditions for American Idol!

Who else is watching and who are you rooting for?

I'm not too sure of names, but I'm surprised at how many young talented people came to audition this year! (They're all 16 - 20 ish) o_o

I'm rooting for:
-Michael Castro (Last season's 4th runner up's brother)
-Corey

The other names are slipping me at the moment, but it was this 16 year old girl with the voice of an angel. :X

I only saw a tiny little bit of them in Arizona, and all I have to say is: what the f*ck is up with that slutty bikini girl?

OMG. It was such a gimmick! If she wore a damn mumu, or, you know, pants, she wouldn't've gotten through.

Honestly, the blind dude was good, but he wasn't that great. The show was making such a big deal b/c he's blind. I thought they were focusing a little too much on his blindness. He's not an alien, he's blind. Jeez...
I said blind way too many times in the above sentences. lol

I like the Indian dude and the last girl on the 2nd episode. It's hard to pick a favorite b/c most of the ones that went to Hollywood are so good!

The Indian guy was so good! And he sang one of my favorite Boyz II Men songs!

And I agree with you completely about the blind guy. Blind people sing all the time (Blind Boys of Alabama, Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, etc.).

What do you think of the new judge? Personally I feel like she adds NOTHING to the show. She's just another Paula.

Aw, don't be so hard on Kara. I like her. She's not a space cadet like Paula and I love that she's kinda bitchy.

From what I can remember, she had a decent voice but her head movements were er...a little something else. I loved when her and Kara were having a go and the Bikini girl was all, "well your demonstration wasn't any better." :uhoh: Haha, Simon just said yes without even thinking about it.

As for the addition of a new judge, I don't know how I feel about it. She seems pretty cool, not too much of a push over like Paula but not as harsh as Simon either.
