The UN doesn't fire missiles at Israel, and the UN didn't declare war on Israel, so how is Israel justified in shelling a UN compound? The UN is in Gaza as a relief agency who is trying to help the Gazan civilians, who also haven't fired missiles on Israel, by the way. Israel attacked a UN post during their war with Lebanon, too, by the way.

Anyway, the whole missile thing is over-blown. Hamas' missiles rarely do any real damage, let alone kill anyone. Sure, they're still terror weapons, but you don't consider Israel firing chemical weapons on a civilian population to be terror, too?

Hm? No, I don't think I'm saying that. The UN is a multinational conglomeration of nations that seeks (or attempts to seek) peaceful resolutions to problems between nations -- at least in theory. They're not really "for" or "against" Israel per se; they're just (a) seeking a peaceful resolution to the conflict; (b) a peaceful resolution to the Israel-Palestine crisis in general; and more immediately, © aid for civilians caught in the middle of the fighting.
