or do you make your own happiness?
it's probably unhealthy but my happiness relies really heavily on other people. spending time with people i like makes me happy, but when things don't go the way i want them to or leaves me unsatisfied, it can completely ruin my day. maybe i should become a hermit. zero contact is the answer. |

I'm happy right now. Not because I have friends that are like brothers or because I'm in a relationship that is unlike any happiness I've ever experienced, but I'm happy because I'm comfortable with me. Love, companionship, emotional support and encouragement are all wonderful and they contribute in making life worth living, however, we all must be prepared for the worst. Born alone, die alone. Everyone that I know could turn their back on me at any given moment. My family can die. I could lose everything that I own and be flat broke, alone, and miserable. Who will make me happy then? Nobody. So it's up to me to stay grounded in who I am. /rant |
