Okay so this is sort of my first layout? This is probably the furthest I've gotten with a single layout. I always just delete it when I'm halfway done.
I'm not yet done with it, there's still a lot to be done. C&C plox. |

Not sure if I'm fond of the (what seems to be a) drop shadow beneath the navigation bar. Although it's minor detail and I doubt it really matters. It's probably just my personal taste. Other than that it's really simple but nice. Good quality, easy on the eyes, good color combination, etc. etc. I like the colors (I'll emphasize on this) they give it this mellow feel.
![]() EDIT- I figured out why the drop shadow thing is bothering me. It'll probably sound stupid and anal-ish...maybe. The navigation bar is connected to a border that surrounds the whole image thing and since they're both the same color it creates this illusion of being one whole entity. Now the drop shadow adds depth of field to the bar itself when it's connected to the border which has no perceived depth. Basically it messes with my concept of space. |
