So I found this tutorial-
http://www.webdesign.org/web/photoshop/ima...-text.1125.html

but I can't get it to work on pscs3.
I can't get the gradient to show only on the text.
(the tutorial says to press ctrl + g) but that doesn't do anything except make a new group. I can still see it everywhere and not just the text like it's supposed to.

Does anyone know how do get the gradient to show JUST in the text on pscs3?

Try right-clicking on the text layer and select "Blending Options". Then, a box will pop up and there should be an option called gradient overlay which should make it a gradient text. _smile.gif

Oh I know how to do that, but I need to be able to move the gradient around from one side to another.. >_<

Oh, well in that case, I suggest you do what Nat said.
