What do you think of it?
vs xp who wins? Im not worried about speed so I like vista. WHich I never thought Id say. As my new vista computer gets old and slow I might put xp on it to speed it up. Thoughts? What are you running? Vista? Xp? OS X? Thoughts? |

Can someone kinda explain to me what exactly linux is? I dont really understand.
Or send me a link. All i know is that its a free operating system. haha. |

Like Windows, it's an operating system -- that is, a piece of software that manages a computer -- but it's a lot different than Windows. Does that help? I work as a systems administrator for a network of Linux-based research machines, and I've written software for Linux for a number of years, so I know a fair bit about it.
