i have a new theory.
families fight and fall apart during the holidays because that's when they actually have to spend time together. long story short, i got into a fight with my bitch of a mother and got thrown out. fun stuff. |

That's an interesting theory. I think it's quite valid. The holidays usually aren't so bad in Hong Kong because I can go out whenever and sort of escape the mundane atmosphere of home. Sadly in Canada, I'm pretty much stuck at home and have spent the past week isolated here with my family, and there's bound to be more arguments.
I think more accidents happen in the Christmas season because 1) stress and 2) the same reason why people get sick in the winter, because they're forced to stay inside, cooped up with people on a cold night. Christmas f*cking sucks. I'm not having a good time at all. |
