Yeah I would decrease the opacity of the undereye retouching to maybe 80% at least just to keep it looking more natural. And what carolannexbh said about the shadow, I don't see anything wrong with it. It would be a little ridiculous to get rid of the shadow altogether. It's a retouch, but you want it to look real. It's a nose that sticks out from her face. It's natural for it to cast a shadow. I can see why you might want to retouch some of the skin that the shadow covers, which may be difficult to do easily...which is why a well-lit photo is probably a better starting point for a retouch.
It's not bad, not overly smooth either which is a plus. I would probably do what I suggested above plus fix a bit of the redness around the nostril area. |
