I'm going to one this Saturday, and the theme is black and white Hollywood Theme cocktail style. And I'm not sure what to wear. Any suggestions?

I like black vests though
 However, it looks bad with a bowtie - which is more waiter-ish. The flannel looks good with the best, as with the picture that was posted. Dunno about the blazer though, but a blazer would look good with anything - even a t-shirt. The outfit looks more pulled together with black slacks though, versus indigo jeans.
