Y'okay, so this has a bit of an explanation behind it. For my Art II midterm exam, we needed to pick a quote and turn it into art. I'm in the play Oliver! as Nancy this year and I wanted to kind of figure out my character, so I chose a quote from the song "As Long as He Needs Me". It's basically about her lover who abuses her, but she loves him anyway. The quote is:
"In spite of what you see, I'm sure that he needs me." So I wanted to find a picture of a girl who was smiling and happy-ish, but with a giant bruise on her face.
