this is a continuation of my last topic about my jaw hurting
http://www.createblog.com/forums/index.php...p;#entry3069716 i was thinking it was teeth clinching, but now since it's only on my right side and it's far back in my mouth i'm starting to think maybe it's my actual teeth. who's gotten their wisdom teeth out? how did it feel before you did? did your mouth hurt before? |

Because wisdom teeth are vestiges from earlier times if/when they grow in they tend to grow in so that they mess up the alignment of your other teeth (called impaction). Messed up alignment = bad, so wisdom teeth = removed.
Edit: Also, apparently, if wisdom teeth fail to completely erupt from the jaw (stay partially impacted), over time this can cause pericoronitis, an infection. |
