Yeah... Basically I have a lot of friends that I want to give gifts to (for christmas) but I dont know what to get them because I don't exactly have an unlimited supply of money. :P

What should I give my friends? Are there any cheap stores? I don't much care for bulk buying. But I'm thinking of getting my closest friends stuff that I know they'll like.
and some less close friends a cute cup with candy in it?

any other ideas?

no offense but i would not give them the whole "cookie mix in a jar" thingy. who seriously wants a jar full of sugar and flour and shit for christmas? i can't think of anything i'd want less than a jar of flour, except maybe like...a jar of lint or something like that. i could go in my kitchen if i wanted sugar and oats and flour. here's some random shit i found in my cabinet and poured in a jar for you!

but if you're friends are into that sorta thing then go for it.

say there's a christmas gathering of like 25 people and you want to give gifts for everybody that is there. now OBVIOUSLY, i would get more stuff for my closer friends... but if you just want to be nice and have a small present for everybody else, i would suggest the cookie mix since it's simple. buying "little presents" for 25 people can add up to be a lot of money. and i guess i should've said that the cookie mix thing is typically more applicable to girls than guys, stereotypically speaking (typically, so i realize that some girls do not like baking and vice versa)

and then 10 other people show up with the exact same thing...WHAT THEN?

you simply get 10 jars of cookie mix... and you'll feel like you have a never-ending supply of cookies, which is really not a bad feeling :)
