Holiday gifts, what to give your friend when you're on a budget?? Options

Yeah... Basically I have a lot of friends that I want to give gifts to (for christmas) but I dont know what to get them because I don't exactly have an unlimited supply of money. :P

What should I give my friends? Are there any cheap stores? I don't much care for bulk buying. But I'm thinking of getting my closest friends stuff that I know they'll like.
and some less close friends a cute cup with candy in it?

Candy or trailmix is a good idea, but do something creative with it to make it more personal. You could put it in a glass jar, little decorative baggies, or a cup like you said.

You could get a small keepsake box and fill it up with little gifts, like at Target they have the little dollar section.

Decorate an inexpensive picture frame and put a picture of a memory with your friends in it.

Or.... homemade cookies.
