I want some pork dumplings (siu mai).
I just googled "pork dumplings siu mai" and I got this picture: ![]() http://www.4to40.com/recipes/index.asp?id=153 THAT IS NOT A SIU MAI. Or at least, not what they're supposed to look like. QUOTE Chinese dumplings have a savory mix of pork, green cabbage, garlic, ginger and sesame oil inside, and they are surprisingly easy to make Pork yes, but NO green cabbage, NO garlic, NO ginger, MAYBE sesame. This lady is thinking of regular pork dumplings, i.e. potstickers. NO NO NO lady. I swear. I am never going to eat a white lady's version of Chinese food. And omgomogmomg she used flour for the wrapper. FLOUR. JESUS. |
