Layout Help, add a margin? Options

Hey, i'm modifying a mysplace layout i found on this site. But i'm having an issue with a bit where i want the text inside the blurb area to have about a 20-40 px margin on the left and right, as the background image i will end up using (i'm using a draft image at the moment) will have its own kind of border (check out the layout to know what i mean). But when i add any padding/margin codes in, it just adds them to the whole thing, i want it to just apply to the text inside the blurb.

If there anyway of doing it without the class?, so that it is applied to all text in that section?

Also, is there a way to have different background headers for the About me and Who i'd like to meet headers?

Like splitting it into two separate box's...
