Whatcha doin with it? Smoking, broiling, frying? We've got our turkey in a brine solution and shortly we're throwing it into the smoker for about six hours. My family is celebrating Thanksgiving on Saturday, and we're soaking the turkey in kosher salt and then rinsing it and cooking. I don't know anyone else who does that, but kosher salt retains more water than other salts, so the turkey is really juicey. Why isn't this in Food? ![]() Fucking retard |
