so i got my cartilage pierced recently and i was just wondering how i should clean it? like what should i use? i tried researching online but i've been getting mixed reviews. so far, i've gathered that you can use rubbing alcohol, hydrogen peroxide or salt water. BUT every site keeps telling me conflicting opinions on the effectiveness of the three and stuff. basically, one site is telling me rubbing alcohol is a no-no, while another site swears on it (btw, i'm using rubbing alcohol currently cause i found that first lol). so question - what do you guys use to clean your cartilage piercings?

idk, i have a cartilage piercing and an industrial.
for the regular cartilage, i just used claire's solution, which is pretty much a mild hydrogen peroxide. it bubbled up a little, but healed up fine in the end. for the industrial, i'm using saline solution. it's a little swollen, still, but i know it'll go down in a few weeks. |
