You've been going by your name, or a variation of your name, for your entire life. If you were called Frank or Gertrude your entire life... do you think you'd end up any differently than how you are now? |

I certainly think I would be different.
My name isn't hideous, it's just plain and boring...as well as a popular dog name (which was just more amunition for bullies). I have always hated saying it and ended up hating to say other people's names unless I'm referring to them indirectly. For the entire 20 years of my existence, I never called my brother by his name. It wasn't until recently that I began calling people by thier name which is only because my job calls for that.
