Does myspace profile have to be public for tracker to work?

I put the code on my page in the about me section & what not but it doesnt display any stats when i check it & I have been getting hits on my page from other people so im confused...? Is it because my profile was on private?

^Yes, you'd HAVE to set your profile to public in order for the tracker to work. Link codes don't work in the Headline section so that method will result to a couple of dots instead of a tracker image.

In short, the tracker is capable of working in the headline of a private profile and track all views.


This is because the only part that's needed of the code for the tracker to actually work is the <img> tag, the link is not needed. So the tracker will work, but I'm sure it's frowned upon to not include the link to createblog with the tracker code.

So technically speaking, it CAN work if you have just the image in your headline. But I wouldn't recommend it, because keeping the <a> link code will help support CB wink.gif
