Are you good at showing affection? Do you hug/kiss/etc people? Do you tell them that you love them?
It's hard for me to say "I love you" and be serious about it, but I feel that telling people that I love them is unnecessary. I don't know why it's difficult for me to say it (I haven't told my parents that I loved them since I was in 5th grade), but I feel that my actions, expressions, how I talk, etc is pretty tell-tale. |

well, I don't speak to my family all that much, and lost several key members very early when i was young, (my mom passed when i was 9) so that kinda 'colored' the way I deal with people.
For the few friends I have that are serious long time friends, I make a point of telling them how i feel about them often, even when a couple of them say i am being 'mushy'... You never know when someone you care for can disappear. If telling you, " I love you" makes you uncomfortable, then try to imagine how uncomfortable you might feel without me in your life at all. That's basically what it comes down to. |
