While over here, I managed to buy and sell an AE86. I bought it for 6 grand and sold it, without any additional modifications, for 10. Not a bad flip. Problem is, in three months, I'll be SOL if I don't have any wheels. Instead of buying a POS as a temporary fix, I'm really planning on purchasing something fly.

I want to buy it. I can find these bad boys for as cheap as 11 grand, since they've been in production for over 11 years. I want a relatively newer one as long as it doesn't hurt my pockets too much.

SHOULD I BUY IT?
I probably will

Just check the mileage on those things, especially the transmission. European sports cars are especially nasty to maintain and fix. I believe Boxstars back in the 90's went for the 2008 equiv of $38k+, so there has to be a good reason the seller has brought his price down to $11k. I don't mean to be pessimistic, but I'm sure there are some good deals out there, but 11k is hella cheap. And suspicious.

The prices for used Boxster are consistently affordable. I wouldn't was my time buying the cheapest one with 100k+ miles on it. I know a thing or two about cars. As it stands, they're not expensive sports cars. I was so set on buying a Honda S2000 until I did some more searching. When it all comes down to it, I'll probably drop around 20 grand.
