Has anyone here ever been to comic con? Well the one in San Diego?
How was it? Did you enjoy it? Was it worth it? I want to go in 09 but not sure if its completely worth it, so thought I would ask any of you guys if you've ever been and how was it? |

I've been going for the past couple years, but I didn't go this year. It's kinda annoying that they don't sell tickets at the door anymore, but that means you can buy a kids priced ticket & not have them ID you
![]() But I guess the online thing is understandable since it's so popular now. Uhm...it's always super crowded, but fun to see everyone dressed up in those anime costumes & stuff (I always forget what it's called when they do that) Oh & you usually get a ton of free stuff (movie posters & things like that) since most of the big vendors wanna promote their products. It's fun too cuz you get to see famous people, like Jessica Alba was there one year & I'm pretty sure the case of Heroes was there last year too & ditto with that guy from the 300 movie. And if you plan on buying stuff, I'd suggest buying merchandise on the last day since that's when all the vendors are prone to making their prices lower to sell more. |
