IPOD HELP, Anyone? |

I didn't know where to post this but this seemed to be just as good a place as any so yeah. My friends Ipod says do not disconnect and has the blinking thing on top and the computer doesn't notice it is connected. I've tried disk mode and it still doesn't work. My computer once noticed "new hardware" when I connected the ipod and told me to restart but nothing changed. Can someone help?

This may not be what you want to hear, but you may want to call Apple about that. It sounds like something is wrong with your iPod. I would walk you through all the steps to restore, et cetera, but you seem to know how to do all the stuff already.
