dying my hair blue? |

My school colors are blue, black, and white and I wanted to dye my hair for graduation.
I have dark brown hair and I was thinking of blue streaks or something like this How long will this color stay? I've never done anything to my hair before, so I was going to get it professionally done, but I wasn't sure whether it's worth dying or just getting extensions. Help? |

I had a friend that got her hair dyed at salons all the time, and her colors were never as vibrant or long lasting as mine. She ended up just letting me dye her hair. But, that's just around here, I'm sure in bigger cities they have a lot more experience with those dyes. They really are a lot different than other dyes.
But, I would highly suggest you just get the spray in color. It washes right out and will show up great on any hair color. Crazy colors like that are a commitment since you do damage your hair to achieve them. My hair is pretty healthy, but I have been doing this for a long time. Everyone seems to have this belief if you bleach your hair it will fall out, but I've been bleaching and dying my hair for most of my life and I'm fine. |
