I didn't know where to post this but this seemed to be just as good a place as any so yeah. My friends Ipod says do not disconnect and has the blinking thing on top and the computer doesn't notice it is connected. I've tried disk mode and it still doesn't work. My computer once noticed "new hardware" when I connected the ipod and told me to restart but nothing changed. Can someone help?

OshKoshPoshJosh seems to understand my problem most so yeah umm..It does beep when i connect it but from there nothing happens. Every once in a while when I'm lucky and I put in G: in the address part of Internet Explorer I will see the folders on the ipod. But I can't do anything from there. When I try copying a folder it says the parameters is incorrect. All I really want to do is being able to RESTORE the Ipod because I think once this is done I will be able to put songs on it. As of now there are no songs on it.
It also says it Can't mount IPOD when I try using the software updater |
