It's funny among music majors, because we all actually DO have a whole lot on our plates - but each individual music major thinks he/she has it worse than everyone else. It's like "uh we're all going through this right now, stop complaining". Really, though, I did sit down with my flute teacher the other day trying to find time to meet with my accompanist and I literally could not find an open thirty minutes ANYWHERE during the week between 8am and 9-10pm. It's pretty ridiculous. So if you guys think I'm trying to one-up everyone, that's cool, but I'm not. I like when I get a chance to just sit down and do something for myself. Unfortunately, when I'm not at school or practicing all I can do is talk about school or practicing.
