this is a sorta handy tester that lets you look at three different fonts side by side to compare them. it gives you each option for them so you can see how they'll look once you go italic, bold, uppercase, ect. i thought it was pretty nice for when you're going back and forth between two fonts trying to figure out what you want.

alright...i must ask because its been driving me nuts for a long time.

What does this mean?

it's latin or something, and it's just like a standard text place holder to show what actual text would look like. whenever you put "real" text into a sample of something people tend to read it and that can have an affect so i figure that's why they opt to use something that doesn't really say anything.
