He doesn't talk to me Options

There is this guy i met for a while but we recently just started talking. We were doing good. We both know that we like each other just none of us chose to tell each other. We would hang out together every day and basically go everywhere together. He always waits for me after class and talks to me every day. We hold hands occasionally when he feels like it. Lately, it feels like we've been drifting apart since i never had time for him recently. Things been going good and at first i thought he just didn't like me anymore. My friend happened to ask him and he replied that he does. Within a couple days later he ignores me. I have no idea why. It's been a while now and i still don't know why. It's really frustrating me and i just don't know what to do
