i'm going right now to go get a flu shot. do yo get flu shots or do you just risk it?

I usually just risk it, but I was advised to get it this year since I'm working with kids. The last time I worked with kids during the winter (February 2007/08?) and didn't get a flu shot, I got pretty sick. So... I don't know.
