lol okay this happens like everyday. there a decent amount of people on (by cb standards). yet the threads stay stagnate for about an hour at a time lol. and there's like 6 people looking at it....what are you guys doing?

We don't have THAT many members online at a time like some other forums I can think of. Plus, people who come to cB usually heard about it because they were interested in learning about and discussing web design and graphic design. I think we can safely say that there isn't really much to report on in the the web and graphic design world on a daily basis...hell, not even a monthly basis. So cB thrives based on social discussions, not so much about blogs or designing blogs. And who's to say that you couldn't discuss all that other stuff on another forum?
Bottom line...we're just not specialized enough, so we don't get too many loyal members, only maybe 50 long-term ones at a time. How much could 50 active members contribute at a time? |
