Under the make-up Options

Here's a poem i wrote based on my life...tell me what u think thanx:)

Under the Make-up
Pink, blue, green eyeshadow
nice, shiny lipgloss
they do a really good job
to hide the face of a girl who's lost
she's oh so pretty
atleast that's what they say
but they don't know
that she sees herself as ugly everyday
she's been hurting all this time
cried so many tears
she can hide like a little child
under the mask of make-up she wears
noone knows how she feels
they can only just look at her and see
a girl who pretends to have skin of steel
what if she ran out of make-up one day?
and couldn't cover up her misery
that would be the climax
of her troubling life story
In a way, it's good to have make-up
it benefits you and makes you feel happy
because some people just can't show their emotions
like the girl in this poem which is me.
