I get a validation error when I validate my blog located at http://webcopywritersblog.com/ which has the My World theme here on http://validator.w3.org/:

QUOTE
Validation Output: 1 Error

Line 158, Column 361: there is no attribute "allowtransparency".

The line:
…mp;w=200&h=60" allowtransparency="true" frameborder="0" height="60" width

You have used the attribute named above in your document, but the document type you are using does not support that attribute for this element. This error is often caused by incorrect use of the "Strict" document type with a document that uses frames (e.g. you must use the "Transitional" document type to get the "target" attribute), or by using vendor proprietary extensions such as "marginheight" (this is usually fixed by using CSS to achieve the desired effect instead).

This error may also result if the element itself is not supported in the document type you are using, as an undefined element will have no supported attributes; in this case, see the element-undefined error message for further information.

How to fix: check the spelling and case of the element and attribute, (Remember XHTML is all lower-case) and/or check that they are both allowed in the chosen document type, and/or use CSS instead of this attribute. If you received this error when using the <embed> element to incorporate flash media in a Web page, see the FAQ item on valid flash.

When I saw my header.php file, it shows this:

QUOTE
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">

How do I fix this?

Additional Information:

Previously I used to get an error saying:

"Internet Explorer cannot open the Internet Site http://webcopywritersblog.com. Operation Aborted."

I wish to know how do I resolve this issue.
Can anyone help please?

Ron

Could you show other portions of your code? Such as the area that line of code is actually in.

Sorry but I can't do that really.. share the code, its my company's code.

If you are encountering the same problem.. then go into the sidebar where you place your widget. In that widget you might have placed the Google Talk Badge Code, exactly there you will find "allowtransparency=true". Remove that code from the Google Talk widget on the sidebar that you have placed in wp-admin.

Here's why I cannot share ...

Its the Google Talk Chat Code of my official email id on my site which I use via Google apps. Each and every company which uses google apps for their site's domain name can use a badge which they can apply to their site to chat with people who visit their site.

When the visitors find the owner of the email id online, even guests can click instantly on the badge to chat without signing up for a Google Talk account just as it shows up on my site.

I want you guys to know:

cforms 9.1 the wordpress plugin, I got 17 validation errors when I activated it and validate my wordpress blog site. Cform is another reason why I receive this error:

"Internet Explorer cannot open the Internet Site http://webcopywritersblog.com. Operation Aborted."

As soon as you will deactivate the plugin, the site will be operational on Internet Explorer 6 / 7.
