Birthday surprise ideas for girlfriend, might I mention - long-distance girlfriend. Options

OK I really need ideas for my girlfriend's birthday.. it's coming up on the 21st of november (the day twilight comes out, I've been told..if that's of any importance. she's addicted to the series.) and the thing is.. she lives 1000 miles away. She believes that I'm going to be busy that weekend, when actually, her mom purchased a plane ticket for me to surprise her that day.

My flight gets in before noon, while she's still in school, and her mom is dragging her little sister out of school to help me out. I really want to surprise her as she's walking out of school.. do something to make her completely utterly stunned that I am making an unannounced visit.

Part of the idea I had was this - when she visited me a few weeks ago, I gave her a paper rose that I folded, and a note attached said "wherever the paper rose lies, I will be near.. I promise." and she doesn't quite understand what this means. So I will put a paper rose on the windshield of her car so that when she walks out of school she will be super surprised and realize that I'm near.. then I surprise her xD

But I don't think that that's enough of a build-up. I maybe want to give her little clues leading up to it. I'll have access to her school before she actually gets out.. so .. I don't know.. any suggestions for a surprise build-up?

i believe your rose idea is amazing! i would have never thought of that (:! hehe, well anywho.. that's a great way to surprise her. then you must take her out for the longest time :D! you should get a great love story part from the twilight series and do it for her. maaybe that'd help? and then take her out to see it! google, or ask createblog the greatest moments in the twilight series. i would help, but i forgot everything that i have read. i have to really catch up again! ugh, but i think the twilight thing would be a great idea :]] hope this helps.
