Anyone who's ever listened to The Beatles has probably heard "A Hard Day's Night", and is probably familiar with the "mysterious" chord played at the beginning of the song. I came across an interesting article that discusses that that chord is, exactly. I won't ruin the surprise for anyone, but if you've ever wondered what that chord is, check it out. _smile.gif

I never even thought to wonder about what the chord was until I listened to it in Theory (we're doing a pop/jazz section right now, and my music theory professor LOVES The Beatles). We listened to a few songs, including that one, and he talked about the chord structure - he also made an off-handed comment about what that first chord was, and that was just last week so it's funny that I should read this now. Very interesting. :)

Btw, are you still playing guitar? How's that going?

Yeah, I just started playing again, actually. Thing is, I don't really have anyone to play with. I also sold my amp, so I don't have one of those, either.

I also wish I had taken more time while at college to play the guitar more, and maybe learn how to play it for reals.
