I broke up with my ex-gf about a week ago. I was really sprung over her, which is weird since i'm the one that dumped her. I'm trying to get over her since I've already made myself look like a fool. If you know what I mean..
What should I do? |

What helps me is being around other people and staying focused on other things. Make sure you let them know that you're getting past it and that they can treat you normally, because if they don't you'll just feel worse and you'll feel like you're bringing everyone else down with you. Don't dwell on it, also. It won't help. Just try to distract yourself and get used to the fact that you aren't together anymore.
Sidenote, if she seemed distant and wouldn't talk to you it's probably because she wasn't into it either. Breaking up with her was probably the right thing to do, and that would explain why getting back with her is pointless. Don't let her try to make you look like the bad guy, just understand that you needed to break up and don't make a fuss over it. |
