a kind of discourtesy in the form of an act of presuming;
http://wordnet.princeton.edu/perl/webwn?s=presumption I get home from work much later than everyone else this evening. My purse and my bag isn't even on the floor before I'm asked what I'm making for dinner. This is getting REALLY OLD. Don't you hate it when people presume that you will do certain things on a regular basis? PS - It wasn't my son who asked. A child his age should presume that his mother is making him dinner. PSS - Am I using this word correctly? I don't want Cristy to kick my ass. ![]() |

I know what you mean. I work EVERY DAY. I had one Sunday off. And, still, I am told I will be babysitting, I am told I will be out all night doing things I don't want to do, I am told what I am cooking and when I am cooking it.
I don't even think I'd mind so much if someone asked me to do something every once in a while. |
