So, political discourse has been showing up more and more the closer and closer we get to November. As a result, I've decided that this thread should exist. All political arguments that relate to the elections (and the candidates) should find their home here, more or less.

to be honest i think they both have character. i think mccain has plenty of character and he's been tested on that more than obama or anyone running has. to me the problem is that mccain isn't running his campaign, some other nutcases with awful judgment are. i don't think mccain would have chosen palin on his own, i don't think he would have gone as negative as he has, i don't think he would concern himself with all this bill aires terrorist bullshit ect ect. i mean does this really resemble the mccain prior to this election? no.


problem is that he hasn't ran it himself, and if he can't tell the religious right and far right to f**k off now, then i don't think he'll do any better at it when he's in office.


i mean there's some stuff i just wouldn't agree on period, becuase i'm not very conservative, esp on social issues. i'm not so far left though that i wouldn't ever vote for a republican.


had mccain ran this shit himself and picked a real vice presidential candidate...well, i might actually have to make more of a choice
