So, political discourse has been showing up more and more the closer and closer we get to November. As a result, I've decided that this thread should exist. All political arguments that relate to the elections (and the candidates) should find their home here, more or less.

Obama because he has character unlike McCain and he just connects to people.

If McCain had the character he claimed he had, his campaign would'n't be in the mess it is right now. First he attacks Obama and picks a running mate who says some of the stupidest stuff: Rev. Wright. It's okay to get ppl to doubt the candidate but when this 1st came out, McCain said he wouldnt play on it. Now it's ok b/c he's losing. That is where my argument comes from. AT the 3rd debate, he started whining that Obama was defending him from ads and such, when a independent group released an ad calling Obama's wife an angry black, the GOP said nothing. Those racists ppl @ the rallies, Palin did nothing to defend Obama and all of a sudden Obama has low character b/c he refuses to waste all his time defending him.

McCain was disturbed by his own rallies but he stirred the ppl up.

Also, I'm part of the GOP but the party has just done some screwed up stuff. All the scandal, all the indictments, all the property tax hikes, the broken promises, the screwed up war, sorry but I'm disappointed in my own party. McCain tries to divide this country while Obama is trying to unite it. The choice is just clear to me. Obama cares, I think McCain juist feels he deserves it b/c he was a vet.
