Yea, so I dropped my phone in my bowl of cup-of-noodle.
or, rather, my brother threw my phone at me, which landed in the bowl, but whatever.
so now, my brother is sitting here watching me, laughing his ass off, while eating the cup-of-noodle that my phone fell in while I'm almost crying cause i know theres no way my parents are buying me a new phone.(even though ive had this same one for almost two years now)
the little water-damaged thingy is almost all red, but it still turns on and everything.
I can pretty much do everything with it.
Except send/recieve calls and texts or anything. pinch.gif
so yea, anybody know any way to possibly save my phone?

oh yea, and according to my phone, it is January 1, 1989 and it is 12:02 a.m.

Probably too late to do this now, but here are some steps that might save your phone.

Since you have a red dot, I'm assuming you have a razr. Take the back cover off, then take off the battery.

Get a paper towel, and dry off the phone as best as you can. After you dried off the phone, look for a product called "goo be gone" (I'm very serious about the name, you can find one at radioshack). Put a dab of the stuff on a paper towel, and wipe the gold (or silver depending on your model) contacts between the battery and the phone itself. Then get an air can spray and spray the contacts. Let it air dry completely for three days, do not put the phone out in sunlight. Make sure the room is dry at room temperature, to ensure proper drying.

After the three days is up, put your phone back together and see if it boots up. Water damage causes all sorts of problems, but if you follow those steps then the damage could be minimal.

Now if the problem persists:
1) Call your provider, see if they can send you a new phone.
2) Beg your parents and do extra chores for a new phone, then beat up your brother till he cries.
3) If it's AT&T go to a prepaid dealer, buy a Go Phone and put your sim card in there, your phone will work and have service. If you have CDMA (Verizon or Sprint) good luck finding a phone.
