does anyone ever noticed that when black/asian/hipsanic kids get kidnapped or go missing there they don't get national news coverage to the extent that white kids do?
aside from race , i don't even get why some kids get so much coverage and others get none. why do some get to be on the news for weeks and others never. |

It's sad to say, but I think it depends on how much money the parents have and/or how cute the kid is. You never see ugly missing children on national news.

But that also says something about the people doing the reporting. Also, imagine if every child who was kidnapped made national news and was reported on. There'd be no time left for other headlines. Reporting in-depth on a missing child doesn't mean it's going to help him/her be found.
