I've been best friends with this boy since I was about four, and now he says he wants to hangout in groups because he doesn't want people thinking the wrong idea. I also got the vibe that he thinks I want him. We don't really hangout as much as we used to, but we are the types that don't have to see each other in order to still be close. What should I do about this situation without ending our friendship?

well i first dated the guy before he became my best friend... We only went out for two-three months, and after we broke up we became closer than ever... yeah we had some sort of friends with benefits, but ever since then i was always comfortable to come w/ him about anything
