So today there was a three year old girl kidnapped from a play pen in a store in Elizabeth, NJ. Mind you this is near me.

Apparently she was kidnapped by a older woman who looked about the age of 40-50 wearing a black (suspected) wig.

There are helicopters and police all over the place in NJ and there's cops outside my house too.
They're scanning the soccer fields, peoples houses, everywhere.

When I logged into Myspace today, it even gave me a warning saying "AMBER ALERT IN YOUR AREA" and it had the story about the girl.

What I don't understand is..children get kidnapped every MINUTE of the day yet all of a sudden this huge fuss is being made about a three year old girl.

I think the mother is largely to blame because she went to shop and left such a young child in a play pen in a PUBLIC store.
and for those of you who don't know the area, Elizabeth NJ is a huge interstate, busy kind of town.

Is Elizabeth where Jersey Gardens Mall is? I used to go there a lot when I lived in NJ.

I do agree that the mother was an idiot, but I think that the most important thing at the moment is to find the child. I just wish this much attention was put into every kidnapped or lost child.

yeah, that's where it is.
it's enormous.

and that's what i'm trying to say. why isn't that much attention paid more often? not that we should blame the mother and make her look by herself.

even though she should be blamed...
