plaid has been in for a long time. and LA isn't really the center of fashion. If you're talking about the center of fashion in the US, it's NYC. LA, and the rest of California is more laidback, therefore, do not follow fashion as closely (although they're still better than 90% of America). If you haven't noticed, gladiator sandals were still large on the runways this last month of fashion week, sure they may have been modified, but they're still in.
And, the fact that it's getting cold, of course people won't be walking down the streets in flat knee-high gladiator sandals. No, instead, it's all about pairing stockings with gladiator platforms. |
